The successful administration of a community association’s affairs is not solely dependent upon the services of a professional management company but rather, a “team” effort on the part of Management, the Board of Directors, Officers, Committees, Association Members, Employees, Service Contractors and Suppliers.
Toward developing a plan for the successful administration of your Association we offer the following overview of responsibilities:
Board of Directors
- Establish Policy
- Supervise Professional Management
- Execute the responsibilities of the respective Officer positions
- Formulate and execute the responsibilities of Special Committees (Finance, Rules, Special Projects, etc.)
- Authorize expenditures in excess of $500.00 and major contracts
Management Company
Resident Manager / Site Personnel / Outside Contractors & Suppliers
(Taking direction from and reporting to the Management Company)
- Site / Resident Management
- Janitorial / Cleaning
- Mechanical Maintenance
- Minor Maintenance Repairs
- Lawn & Grounds Maintenance and/or Repair
- Security
- Contract Maintenance
- Contract Major Repairs and Replacements
- Contract Major Improvement Projects
